Team member spotlight
Paso Pacífico's County Director Liza Gonzalez believes that conservation
is most effectively done on the ground, which is why she is more easily
found in the field getting her hands muddy than in the Managua office.
Liza is an experienced conservationist who has dedicated her talents to
the organization since the start. In 2008, Liza was a
Kinship Conservation Fellow
where she learned the most cutting edge strategies in conservation that
she applies to Paso Pacifico programs today. Her hard work and passion
keep us moving forward.
Celebrate Paso Pacífico's fifth year working on the front lines of

Volunteers are the engines of change in small non-profit organizations.
This summer, Paso Pacífico has been fortunate to work with many
enthusiastic and talented interns, including Jackie Wakeen, Karla
Casariego, Jaime Price, and Chris Giordano. Other interns who continue
to give their time in support of the organization include Clare Shearer
and Catherine Murillo. Paso Pacífico is very grateful!
