Filming is taking place south of the popular beach town San Juan del Sur, in a section of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pasopacifico.org\/paso_del_istmo.html\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.pasopacifico.org\/paso_del_istmo.html\">Paso del Istmo Biological Corridor<\/a> which Paso Pacifico is striving to preserve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For those unfamiliar with the show, Survivor contestants are left to \u201csurvive\u201d unfamiliar terrain, exotic conditions, and hostile competitors, battling to be the last remaining \u201csurvivor\u201d who takes the prize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The show will feature the same tropical dry forests and pristine beaches that Paso Pacifico works to protect and will provide an opportunity for the world to witness the country\u2019s natural beauty, rich biodiversity, and ecological treasures.
